About me
Amber Curtis-Trudell is a New Mexico native who grew up in Las Cruces. She holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Journalism and Creative Writing, as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching with an emphasis in Secondary ELA. She holds Level III licensure with an endorsement in gifted education and is National Board Certified in Early Adolescence ELA.
Amber has taught middle school ELA for 14 years, serving students in both New Mexico and rural Oregon. She is currently teaching 6th grade ELA at Cottonwood Classical Preparatory School in Albuquerque, where she continues her commitment to fostering literacy and critical thinking in young learners
