Christopher Vian is a dedicated and experienced educator who currently serves as the Education Administrator for Multi-Layered Systems of Support (MLSS) and Gifted Education for the New Mexico Public Education Department (NM PED). He is a passionate advocate for creating enriched learning opportunities and serves as a valuable resource for the state's diverse educational landscape.
Throughout his career, Christopher Vian has built an extensive teaching background that spans Oklahoma, China, and New Mexico. His professional experience is notably diverse, encompassing instruction at the early childhood, primary, and secondary levels, as well as collegiate-level teaching. He holds educational credentials from the University of Oklahoma and the University of Central Oklahoma, where he completed his studies in Communication, English, and Secondary Education. In his administrative capacity, he frequently travels throughout New Mexico to collaborate with fellow educators and administrators, focusing on the implementation of systemic supports and gifted programming to ensure all students succeed.
Currently residing in New Mexico, he finds great satisfaction in connecting with those who share his passion for educational excellence. His work continues to bridge the gap between policy and practice, bringing a global perspective to local classroom needs.
