About me
Ginny Simank is the Consultancy Success Lead at the Institute for Multi-Sensory Education (IMSE) and a Level 5 IMSE OG Master Instructor. In this role, she partners with district leaders nationwide to strengthen literacy systems through evidence-based implementation aligned to the Science of Reading.
Throughout her career, Ginny Simank has accumulated diverse experience spanning special education, secondary ELA, and national literacy leadership. She specializes in supporting districts to build coherent, sustainable systems that prioritize instructional clarity and measurable impact. A unique aspect of her work is the focus on "strategic de-implementation"—helping districts identify and remove misaligned initiatives to reduce educator overload and increase systemic coherence. She is a staunch advocate for the belief that literacy is a fundamental right and that the responsibility of leadership is to create the optimal conditions for effective instruction to flourish.
Ginny holds a Master’s degree in Reading, is LETRS-trained, and serves as an Acadience Reading K–6 Mentor. Her expertise lies in the bridge between high-level district strategy and the practical, multi-sensory instructional techniques required to reach every student.
