About me
Jessica Dinsmore serves as the Manager of Learning Management Systems at the New Mexico Public Education Department (NM PED). She is a dedicated advocate for accessible and impactful adult learning, focusing on how technology can be leveraged to enhance educator support and system-wide school improvement.
With a background rooted in both public administration and community-level education, Jessica Dinsmore brings a diverse skill set to state-level leadership. She previously worked with Albuquerque Public Schools (APS), where she focused on supporting students and families through the development of community partnerships and specialized programming. Before taking on her current leadership role, she served in the NM PED Office of Special Education, contributing to statewide professional development and compliance monitoring initiatives. Currently, she leads the department’s efforts to expand and optimize the use of Canvas as the primary platform for professional learning and educator resources across New Mexico.
Jessica holds a bachelor’s degree in Population Health and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of New Mexico. Her work continues to bridge the gap between technical infrastructure and high-quality instructional support for educators statewide.
