About me
Stephanie is an educational psychologist and dedicated educator with 30 years of experience across public K-12 schools, higher education, and mission-driven organizations. Throughout her career, she has balanced teaching with high-impact consultancy work for schools, universities, and national organizations committed to social impact.
For more than a decade, Stephanie has been a steadfast advocate for Indigenous communities, collaborating closely with Native American Nations, Pueblos, and Tribes. Her work focuses on championing educational sovereignty and self-determination to support Nation building. Beyond the classroom, she supports initiatives that honor Indigenous knowledge systems and promote systemic equity in education and other social sectors. Her expertise has been utilized at the national level and extensively throughout the Southwest and New Mexico, where she works to bridge the gap between educational psychology and culturally responsive practice.
She calls Taos, New Mexico, home, where she enjoys living with her two sons and her dogs. Her deep roots in the region inform her commitment to the diverse educational needs and cultural wealth of New Mexico's communities.
