I have been teaching in my home state of New Mexico since 2014. I have taught 3rd and 4th grade general education, and I served as a K-5 Title I Reading Interventionist from 2021-2023, just before stepping into my current role as an MLSS Coach for Elementary Schools.I am the author of the book A Place They Love: Creating a Healthy School Culture and Positively Impacting Students, published by EduMatch Publishing in 2022. I am the author of Stories in My Scars: Poems, which I self-published in 2024.
