In this session, participants will learn how to use Reading Apprenticeship strategies to facilitate student entry points to mathematical texts.   Participants will learn how to increase student engagement with mathematical text, promote discussion around the texts, and facilitate reluctant learners in approaching complex texts they may encounter in secondary mathematics classes.  Facilitated by a classroom teacher, this session is designed to provide quick, easy, effective strategies that incorporate well into day-to-day math lessons.
